My husband is very close to his mother and I really don't like it. Recently my inlaws visited us after 2 years and when they were leaving he cried a lot which irritated me. is it normal for such kind of a behavior?

Most adults can separate from their parents without prolonged crying. You haven't said in what other ways he's too close to his mother, but if he has shown additional signs of emotional dependence, then it bears watching.
