In our bedroom closet my husband had twelve wood paddles all with holes in them and several heavy leather belts he uses for corporal punishment and that includes me when I mess up he makes me go choose which one I want him to use on my bare bottom leaning over our bed.     I don't think O/P is being "beaten" in the normal sense of the word.

    Seems like it's more of a "spanking" situtation, because the O/P says:

    O/P is also doing it voluntarily, and doesn't say she is being beaten. So it doesn't seem to be "against her will"...

    I read the post, several more times, and never does it mention pleasure or pain, approval or disapproval. Just says that: "it includes me when I mess up".

    O/P never says whether they like it, or not-so-much. If they don't consider this abusive, or demeaning . . . . or may actually enjoy it, what's the problem?
