Is it normal my girlfriend is pressing charges on me?

I am looking at possible sexual assault charges because of this. My girlfriend got angry because I snuck my penis into her ass while having sex. She said she is going to press charges on me for rape.

    Uhm ...

First of all: You should have asked for her consent before trying to enter her ass.
Second, it shouldn't be that easy to just slide in there unless she was already relaxed and horny.

And the most important part: If she's willing to press charges over something like THIS she shouldn't be your girlfriend. You should try to talk some sense into her.

    • I just got court papers in the mail. I possibly face 5 to 10 years in prison. It is too late to talk to her about it.

For THAT? I usually complain about my country's low penalties but that just sounds ...way overkill.

You guys were already having sex which was consensual?

This is labelled as rape? As a girl I truly hate girls like this who press charges over the most silly of reasons ...

You did something she didn't give you consent to do, something she could reasonably have expected you to ask for consent for before doing.

I doubt she'll succeed in getting you convicted, but she has every right to try. You're in the wrong.

    • How the hell can this be classified as rape? It's only rape if you're forcing someone tho have some sort of sexual activity against their will. It's not the case when something like that occurs during CONSENSUAL sexual activity! How the fuck should it be? Asking your partner for permission for every fucking move you make? "-Hey! Can i touch your elbow? -Hey! Can i touch your forehead? Can i kiss your earlobe? Can i FUCKING LEAVE THIS STUPID PLACE BECAUSE YOUR SENSITIVE ASS BORES ME TO DEATH?! " Just because someone is made uncomfortable by their partners actions during sex doesn't give them the right to press charges for such a harmless gesture. It's not like he continued to have anal sex against her will.
I swear, idiots like you encourage this stupid "rape culture" to evolve. You sound like one of those liberal scumbag who gets offended by everything and encourages naive and retarded people to become sensitive wussies.
I mean what the fuck's gonna be like in the future? People gonna accuse you of rape for flirting with them? Morons like you should never leave their houses!

You shouldn't spring something on someone during sex that there's a good chance they don't want with asking for consent first. I'm not saying it's rape necessarily, but to act like there's nothing wrong with just suddenly switching to anal without asking or talking about it first is ridiculous.

I think that it's overkill to press charges on your boyfriend for something like this.
According to him she teased him about it (Read further down) and should you really have to ask for consent regarding everything you do in bed with someone. If she thinks this is a big issue she could have just dumped him and get on with her life instead of ruining his.

As a girl I'd never, ever press charges on a guy for overstepping (Which is easy to do, considering that my sex-life consists of BDSM and I prefer to just get thrown into things, of course I can't like everything ...)

Overkill maybe. The main point I was making is that he shouldn't be acting like he did nothing wrong - of course he did. Anal is something most people would reasonably expect to be asked consent for before doing, therefore she's within her rights to feel violated if he didn't.

BDSM makes it different. In BDSM it's expected that there will occasionally be oversteps, and both partners go into it bearing that in mind. In normal vanilla sex partners have a right not to expect that sort of thing.

The fact that she did the teasing thing does make it completely different, though. That is definitely a form of consent, therefore it means he isn't in the wrong after all. I didn't know that information when I made my initial comment, which is why I (it now seems, wrongly) sided with her and not him.

Agreed. I assumed that you didn't read that part about her teasing.

          • I really don't know why she is doing this. I stopped when she made it apparent to do so. I am not a rapist. Ithink she just wants attention and to play a victim. I am now being shunned and harassed in my town.

Sadly some girls are like that. Hopefully you have a good lawyer.

        • You're contradicting yourself. Not only have you stated she has every right to press charges, it also seemed you placed the blame on him. As if he really raped her. Now i agree that somehow, this stupid legal system gives you the right to press charges for literally everything you might consider an offense but that doesn't in any way, shape or form justify the stupid premises from the bitch's perspective.
It's ridiculous! And you're encouraging it.

No I'm not. Please tell me where I said this was rape.

I said she had a right to try and get him convicted if she believes him to be in the wrong (as I do - not for rape, but possibly for sexual assault and he's *definitely* in the wrong morally if not legally). And, since he did it, of course I blame him. Who exactly else can you blame...? :P

I know you troll quite a bit, so there's no point arguing with you :P

    • Actually she teased me about it first while we were having sex. She kept saying "I bet you want put it in my ass." I assumed it was ok because she never told me not to and we were already having sex. She must have a scree loose to take things as far as they gotten. I am not a rapist. I was just in the heat of the moment and I actually thought she would be into it. Now I am facing a possible 10 years in prison. Also people in my town automaticaaly took her side about it without knowing the circumstances first. It doesnt matter though. I am thinking about hanging myself before they have the chance to con ist me anyways.
