Is it normal my friends cousin engaged at age 17?

And married 3 days after she got engaged in a court house at age 18 (on her birthday) to a guy who is 22.

She knew him when she was 14 because her mother and his mother were friends, but then he moved to another state and she JUST visited that state last year and decided to meet up with him..She was there one week and she said she fell in love. When she came back, they talked for a month straight until he went to IRAQ. He got back and she immediately went over to his place for a month and then decided to move in with him to the other state.

She doesn't work, NEVER worked and tells me and my friend that she wants to be a stay at home wife forever because its fun. Of course its fun. He works 10+ hours 4-5 days straight each week and shes just relaxing.

Do you think it'll last? Also, SHE didn't even tell her parents she was marrying. She just engaged, posted the photo of her ring and then boom, posted courthouse wedding photos of her in a white tshirt that said GAP and a black skirt with flip flops and her husband in his military uniform.

Btw, weird fact: The girl is 5'8 and hes only 5'1.
Also, his father and mother married at 21 and got divorced at 28. They apparently only knew each other for 1 year before marriage as well..

Also, his step father dresses like white trash..I met him and he wears tshirts with prints of half nude chicks on them and has photos on his facebook touching 20 yr olds butts and hes nearly 50.
