Some of them didn't even wish me a Happy birthday
and I got no cards, nothing.
These are people I consider myself close to.
I must just be like a massive asshole or something
my birthday was today and we decided to go to Irvine Spectrum and I kept waiting but they never came. I had to watch the movie by myself. Next thing you know they say something came up. My mom started to cry, and so did I.
That happened to me once. Ouch!
In your case, dis your friends know it was your birthday? If so, it's time to find a better class of friends. If they didn't know, give them a break. They might feel bad about missing the opportunity to give you well wishes.

Nope it's not normal and u probably aren't either if all of your friends ditched u on your birthday of course there is another possibility, maybe they aren't normal either way move on get some real friends, ditch the LOSERS
i see how much they 're close to you... what the hell! they could at least send you wishes or call you to say " happy birthday"... if i were in your shoes , i could ignore them for a while and when they will ask you" what does it happen?, you will tell them how assholes they 're
