Is it normal my friend was raped?

My friend was raped a couple of days ago. He's a guy and the person that raped him was a guy. So that means he was gay raped and this just won't get out of my brain. So the juicy part is he was sexually turned on. At first thought you think "oh he's gay" but my friend isn't gay. He's 1000000000% straight. Is this normal? (P.S. This aint no troll so please don't think it is. This is a serious thing to me and my friend)

    A troll telling us he's not a troll, means, he's a troll.

The giveaway: ''The juicy part is...''

        ....because most people are trolls.

And DUDE, that's how trolls are, DUDE. They try to seem as sincere as possible, to make the story seem legitimate.

Why would you use IIN as a means of trying to solve someone's problem, especially as serious as this (IF this whole thing is true).

Rape of any sort can happen anywhere at anytime. Any kind of rape, is not normal. I think we should all learn martial arts so we could better defend ourselves.

logic-fail. if we all can do martial arts, the rapists also learned it. they can then prey on weaker others, still, or use weaponry(which is also trained as part of martial arts) for an advantage. In the end, we are all armed and stupidly shoot each other for looking at each other funny, kind of like a crossover between texas and redneck county.

Maybe, Maybe not. If everyone knows how to defend themselves, then we all be more prepared. If people fight a rapist, at least they'd have more of a chance or defeating them then if they didn't know marital arts and only had a can of pepper spray. Look at the karate kid films. Those kids would never have been able to fight off the bullies if not for learning marital arts.

yes, and if we all learn martial arts, and we all KNOW that we all learn martial arts, then of course EVERYBODY will put in as much of an effort(read: not be lazy about it) as the people actually planning to ASSAULT others with it(e.g. to subjugate and rape them).

They will train more, AND get to choose their opponents(read:victims) and time(e.g. intoxicated victim)...i am sorry, but i don't see how it works out in the favor of the victims-to-be, unless you find some magical way to ONLY train the potential victims.

Well, maybe the "potential victims" should receive letters to train at a marital art academy.

    • Same way anyone else does of course. You get attacked and overpowered.

your ass can be just as vulnerable in the outside as it is in prison.

it's not normal he was gay-raped, unless he's in prison.

due to prostate stimulation it's NORMAL he had an sexual stimulation in the process, though.

    • Unfortunately, gay rape does exist outside of prison, men shouldn't take it for granted that they are safe.

However, your second point is correct completely. :)

it does exist outside of prison. but i would not consider it "normal".

it's not a thing i ever expect to casually hear from a friend because its so "everyday" as to be considered "normal". thats what i tried to say with the first point ;) in prison, on the other hand...

        • Oh, I see now XD And no, I wouldn't say it is normal outside of prison either. Now, I wonder how I even missed your point to begin with *silly me* :)

Not just HIV/AIDS. He needs to get tested for STDs in general.
