Apparently spock is a sociopath and since I am like spock that makes me by extension a sociopath.
Spock is not a sociopath. Vulcans have a very strong sense of right and wrong and Spock himself has a very deep concern for his peers, colleagues and even strangers.
The poor articulation of your post as well as the extremely obvious misuse of the character and the word "sociopath" leads me to believe that you are nothing like Spock and that whoever insulted you is probably at or near your education level.
No I did not say Spock is a sociopath. I was compared to Spock. Also there does seem to be an argument saying he is in fact one.

Sociopaths have no sense of empathy. Spock has a very deep sense of empathy, deep enough to risk his life for his comrades. A sociopath does only what ensures their survival and little else. If they do help others, it is either only to perpetuate the image of their sanity and mental fortitude or to benefit them in some way, usually by polishing their image. Spock cares little for his image and like the majority of the Vulcan race, focuses on logic rather than feelings. Vulcans have feelings, yes, but they surpress them in order to prevent emotional conflicts. Sociopaths only feelings are for themselves.
Your friend is essentially equivilating being a logical and calculating person to not having empathy and guilt. One can have plenty of empathy and guilt and still make decisions based upon logic and reason. They just aren't letting their personal feelings weigh on their analysis of a situation.
He is more logical than your post. Better check back with Star Fleet Command.

Spock is by no means a sociopath unless they have greatly altered his character in the modern iterations of Star Trek. Your friend needs to look up what a sociopath really is. God forbid if your friend ever goes into psychotherapy. He'd be wrongfully diagnosing/labelling anyone who is logical and emotional reserved as being a sociopath.
