Is it normal my friend drank urine?

Okay SERIOUS question, NOT a troll. To me, this sounds REALLY bizarre but to the guy who had the urine, he told me it was a sorority thing.

So my friend is a bit younger than me, still in college, he's in his 2nd yr and he said that he CHOSE to drink urine to level up in the sorority. I tried to google this but found nothing. He had his friend Steve's urine. A full cup of it and it's on video but has since been taken down (nudity).

Anyway, in the video, my friend Cory tells this guy steve to pee into a cup. So Steve pees into a cup (it's legit) and all the guys were wasted. Steve then hands the cup to Cory and asks what he's going to do with it and then Cory explains he's doing this to advance in the sorority and he drinks it. I asked him WHY he did it and he keeps saying he wanted to level up. One of my his friends said he isn't sure what level he's on.

Is this a thing, is this normal? Is this sanitary?

    Why are all these guys trying to pledge a sorority? Are they trannys? Is this a sorority for pre op transgendered girls?

    Sounds like Hazing. It isn't approved at most universities. Many universities have been measures to prevent hazing, since it is dangerous and makes the sorofrats look bad. Now, I could understand it if he was into Watersports. This isn't the case so, I'm going to have to say no.

      I just googled hazing and am amazed people actually participate in that. What is it that makes somebody so desperate to belong to a group that they would agree to abuse?
      I cannot imagine wanting to belong to a group that did not show each other respect.
      It makes no sense to me because I wouldn't want to be around anybody who doesn't treat me with respect.

    I dont think he wanted to "level up". i think he has a gay piss fetish and tells you otherwise. Anybody else would not be willing to do this or be interested in joining a "club" that requires you to drink piss.
