Is it normal my floors did this?

Last Thursday I had one of those days at work that feels like it will never end and everything that could possibly go wrong, did go wrong. So when I returned home that evening I decided to have a nice hot bath to unwind. My bathtub is one of those enormous claw-foot types and it takes a while to fill up with water. While I had the water running an old friend of mine, that I hadn't heard from in ages, called me up. I was so preoccupied with the conversation I forgot about the bath and the running water. I'm sure you can guess what happened next. The water was everywhere and my hardwood floors were soaked. It took me hours to clean up all the excess water but the floors were soggy by the time I was finished. I left the windows open upstairs to let my house air out while the floors dried. Even with the windows open it took a few days to dry, and now that they are completely dry they are considerably warped. They're so badly warped that all of my cats keep piling up on one side of the room.

    Lmao

But seriously though, it sounds like your floors were not treated properly

Yep. That's what floors do when they get flood damage. You need to get a professional to have the floor completely replaced or repaired and hope there's no mold growth. Chances are because it's hardwood, it's going to need to be replaced.

Normal. Now you need to get your floor replaced ASAP. When mold spores are released, they can cause a variety of health issues.
