I love metal music and I really wanna let my hair grow.. but my father always makes such a huge deal out of it and refuses to accept what i love.. he believes men should have short hair and all that crap.. i also believe he thinks that if i grow my hair I will only think of music and my appearance and ill abandon my studies..

    When you're a guy with long hair people assume you're either in to metal or you're a hippie. I wanna know where the town meeting was to decide this shit. Haha.

    Sounds like my dad was. He thought the perfect hairstyle for a man was from the early 60s greased into a pompadour. Used to shave my head bootcamp style when he got angry at my slightly long hair. Is it normal? No. Just an old control freak with a bit of sadism added who wants to control your life. Really. Exactly how would having long hair harm you?
