Is it normal my face keeps twitching

I have a twitch about a month or longer it is mainly my right brow and left eyelid this lasts all day long with random chin and nose twitches iv been having some hand and head tingles with headaches iv called my doctor who told me to go to a&e but my family are making me feel as though I'm over reacting and that it's only a silly twitch I'm very worried but don't really have time to sit in a&e for such long hours is it worth going or am I just been silly ? Could this be serious?
