I'm going to be honest, I am addicted to this website. It gets me through the boring hours at work, peoples different perspectives fascinate me and it makes me feel somewhat...normal?!

I genuinely love it BUT none of my friends know I use it. I couldn't tell them about the stories I write...they already think I'm a bit mental and on the brink of getting sectioned so I have a feeling this will speed up the process lol.

I think it's great, talking to a non-judgemental crowd about your strangest thoughts is brilliant but I hope to hold this secret forever...well until I get drunk next and make a huge announcement in floods of tears like it's life changing or taboo or something.

Does anyone else keep is it normal as their dirty little secret?

    I can see why you would but there's really nothing to be ashamed of. Most of us are normal every day joes who have unique hobbies and mindsets.

    I dont tell anyone about this site either. This is the place I share how I really think. If anyone I know in reality seen my stories they would most likely realise im not who I am when im pretending to be friends with them.

    Ha! Thought this was gonna be another bullshit incest story cause of the title. I told my one buddy about this site and I think he uses it. Every time theres a latent homosexual story, I think he authored it.

    I think its normal not to tell. It's a lot easier to come on here and vent to people who you don't know and not deal with judgmental eyes. I'm a pretty open person in general. But it's so much easier to talk here and hear about other peoples opinions or randomly finding someone who shares the same awkward fetish/likes/thoughts/etc. I found this site on accident a few days ago then realized there's an app. I check it several times a day. LOVE IT.

    Haha! I keep it a secret too. Nobody I talk to know's I go on here, and who know's what they would say/think if they ever did find out. It's normal. And sometime's I can spend a lot of time on here when I'm bored as well.

    I havn't told anyone aboout this site, i found it by accident one day and it's my thing that i like to do when i have free time. Plus i am into some weird stuff so i think i can relate to some of the posts where my friends probably wouldn't.

    I've told my husband and sister about this site. They're the only people I tell EVERYTHING to. And so it would be pointless to try to keep it from them.

    I know exactly what you mean. I have a friend who would love this site (he uses people's Facebook comments as stories and then posts responses to them like we do here) but I wouldn't want him to be here. I'm open with my friends, but I'm more open with the people here. There are things I'll happily tell you lot that some friends only have a vague idea of.

    Could be a failing on my part and maybe the opposite should be true, but it's the way I've chosen to be. So, yeah, I agree with you completely on this.
