Is it normal my diabetic boyfriend is constantly horny?

My boyfriend is a type one brittle diabetic. Over the last few days he has become exceptionally horny. We've tried everything to stop him feeling horny but it hasn't worked. Normally he has a fairly low sex drive, taking a couple of hours to recover right now he is ready to go again in 5 minutes. We've gone through half the flaming internet posts on positions trying to get him satisfied but he's not and I'm exhausted. We've tried asking google but it says he should be having the opposite issue. Diabetes can cause low libido and erectile dysfunction so we don't get it. And he's too embarrassed to talk to his diabetic nurse about it. He's only 19 so I thought maybe it was a mix of teenage hormones and diabetes. Or maybe it's a normal thing for 19 year old lads to get permanently horny. I don't know. I do know my sex drive isn't high enough to keep this up until he's satisfied. Is this a diabetic thing, or a teenage thing or is it something else?
