Is it normal my cousin likes me?

My cousin has always seemed to have a crush on me. And his family approves and pushed us to be alone. His parents are constantly saying stuff about us touching or being together. One time my cousin chased me, because he told me he was going to make out with me. I'm not attracted to my cousin at all. We do live in the south.... I found out recently that he is not blood related to me but we have always called and considered each other cousins and close family. Is this normal?

    I suppose it could be considered normal since you're not blood related, but it's not normal to be so pushy about it.
    If you're not interested, him and his family should really be more considerate of that.

    Well just because it's okay legally doesn't mean it's normal. Have you outright told your parents that you don't like him that way? If you have and they keep pushing then they aren't respecting your boundaries. Plus the fact he keeps trying to chase you and make out with you is worrying.

    You need to tell your parents you want to have a serious talk with them and tell them to tell his parents that you want nothing to do with him in that way and that he sexually harrases you by holding you against your will trying to make out with you, just try to avoid him as much as you can regardless and tell him you want nothing to do with him if he keeps trying to touch you and that you see him as a cousin and nothing more.

    If all the above doesn't stop him from touching you, it's always better to be prepared anyways and search up some youtube videos to learn "how to throw a hook" or "how to defend yourself against a rapist" or "sexual assault defense" Or the most effective strategy, just try to kick his balls as hard as you can and tell him he has no right touching you.

    Nothing more I hate than seeing a male try to take advantage of a female.

    me nd my blood related cousin are always talking about how much we love each other nd if we weren't cousins we would be going out nd stuff.. he also gets jealous of my bfs nd i get kinda jealous of his gfs.. but we still always remind each other that we are each others favorite cousins nd most attractive... lol

    It's a bit weird that his parents mention if you guys touch or something... Once my cousin said in lighthearted way that if I wasn't her cousin, she'd ask me out... Which I found wrong and didn't like it but took it as a compliment.
