Not good. Using the word "pimp" in a casual, almost complementary way would suggest that she is not only comfortable with the word, but with what it denotes. I would suggest to her that she drops the idea, which seems to be growing in youth culture lately, that pimping is cool. At 12, your cousin is just entering the age when girls are the most vulnerable to trafficking; the average age for a first-time trafficked female is 14. Please try to take advantage of this opportunity to warn her about what a pimp is and does. You may want to invite her to watch a good movie on the subject. The best is Nefarious: Merchant of Souls -- but that's a privately produced film and a little hard to find. Others that are more readily available are Human Trafficking and Trade of Innocents.
