    That you were cousins - meh. no biggie there. It's legal where I am, and in most of the world.

    That you were both that young however... To me sex is something you should be prepared to accept the consequences of before you start having it. Sure the orgasms are fun, but if you end up with STDs or a pregnancy... if you're that young someone else is going to be paying the bills for you. Which is why I feel people should wait until they can pay for their own mistakes

        Yes. A virgin can still have an STD.

        1) Most people associate STDs with sex because it's a "sexually transmitted disease" right? However, remember some virgins are active in other sexual practices... such as oral sex, anal, fingering etc.

        2) It can also be transferred through sharing needles etc. Also back in the 80s, it was also possible to contract STDs - including HIV - through blood transfusions, before better screening processes were adopted.

        3) Lastly, with some STDs it's possible to pass them on to your children. Some are passed on because it's in the blood (like HIV) and some are passed on at birth, or through the mother's milk.

        Doctors DO try to limit these kinds of exposure but it's not a perfect world.

    First cousins marry in a LOT of countries, its perfectly legal and the children turn out fine.
    You sound like you were kind and gentle to one another, and this happens very often, not just to you two. People voo doo ize sex and impose arbitrary standards regarding sex on each other. As long as you're not cruel, you both feel ok about it, its no one's business but your own. ignore any judgement from others. Lots of much older people have sex without a condom, so, kudos to you there too

    I can't say I'm proud of it, I've had feelings like this before for a cousin of mine. There is nothing wrong with you for a number of reasons. You're young, and it started out innocent enough but things escalate. If adults can't control themselves in situations like that you can't fault yourself too bad either. I would however advise you to stop immediately because even though physically it seemed all right, it isn't emotionally. You're family, not just your Mom and Dad, well be devastated, or destroyed at the news of this, especially if it keeps going on.

    So far nothing has gone wrong so walk away from it now and maybe meditate on what I said. She is part of your family, there are plenty of other girls out there. I hope you make the right decision.
