Is it normal my colleague talks about her vibrator?

I'm a married male and would like to know if it's normal for women to talk to men about their sex life at work.
One of my colleagues, who is a single mom, told me yesterday that she felt tired. So I said that this could be because she does so much exercise (swimming etc.) She said No, it was because of her vibrator and that she had a large collection of sex toys but her favourite vibrator was a small one with four gears, that stimulates the clit as well. Because of its small size, it shook her body a lot and this is what made her feel tired.
So I'm wondering why would she tell me this? And why the detailed description. IIN?

She wants ya. I'm a female and I'd NEVER say something like that to just any random guy, and especially never say it to someone I wasn't attracted to. She used it as an "in" to put the suggestion in your head. Of course, I could be wrong, but I doubt it. Even so, I wouldn't get anywhere near it, you said you're married for one thing, and sexual harassment is not a light matter, if things go sour she may file a complaint on you. Best not to mix work with personal life.

I have known women who have shared their most intimate details with others at work. Personally I don't understand it, about things like that I am really private at work and with friends. My sex life with my partner (or on my own) is between us two, no one else.

On here is a different matter because it's anonymous lol.

Certain female colleagues and I talk about far worse than this. They tend to be people I've either also socialised with, though, and have built up trust with.

I wouldn't ever break a confidence but I know some hilarious stories of their misadventures, and they mine.
