My brother was playing FIFA and I wanted to plug in my laptopbut his XBOX was in the way so I gently picked it up and moved it to the side and the CD that was inside made this type of noise and he took the CD out and it had scratched my moving the xbox caused it and now the cd refuses to read, I felt so bad and apologised and said that I would give him the money to replace the cd, the thing is I'm a student and I don't work and I had some money saved up to buy a guitar bag and now I can't do that but he still continued to yell at me it got to the point where I had to tell him to fuck off because he went on and on and on. Is it normal he reacted like this even after I said I would give him the money to replace it? he also ranted about it to his friends who were in the room and I felt so bad. A FIFA 13 cd costs a lot well for a person like me and it will set me back a lot.

    Probably a normal reaction if he used his money to buy that and/ or he is in a high level or something that he worked really hard for.

      But getting a new disc doesn't erase your progress in the game. Your game saves aren't stored on the disc.

    Yes, it is in a sense. There's a special spray that fixes scratches on discs and it should help. If it works you won't have to buy him a new one.

    If he acted like that then he probably has an addiction to video games. It won't get better until he loses his system for about a month(normaly). Also if my brother acted like that even after I said I would pay for it, I would make him buy it. Anyways to the point look at GameStop if you have to put it or Xbox live or what ever the online store is called if the corn starch doesn't work.
