Is it normal my boyfriend puts salt on his sugary cereals?

My boyfriend shocked me as I gave him some cocopops. I'm against adding salt to anything but he puts it on most things but when I saw him begin to shake it over sugary cereals I honestly found it just strange. I commented and we had a debate over whether this is normal or not, what do you think? Personally, I think it just defeats the object of having a cereal that's sweet...

Your boyfreind is clearly a canninbal. The clear signs show from this passage with the obvous and now infamous "Salt tooth". This salty craving comes from a surplus of proteins and amino acids found only in human flesh.

What nationality is your boyfreind? Has he ever mentioned a possibly tribal background? How many times has he come home late at night with an erection and the musk of human livers?

    Concerned,

Hmm... I've never tried that before. I could see maybe shaking a little extra sugar on top, but... salt? Not sure. I guess I'd have to try it first before making any judgement.

salt and sugar taste good together.

and it's known that sometimes a touch of salt helps make the sweetness stand out a little more.

try it before you knock it

I think it's normal, if not uncommon. We all have our preferences, especially when it comes to food. I've heard of people putting salt on lemons. As long as he watches his sodium intake and eats things to balance it out, then it should be fine. I used to be best friends with this girl. One halloween, we were at the mall and we got pretzels. We both got the lightly salted ones. I didn't add anything to mine, but I noticed that she started to put globs of salt on her pretzels. I tried it too and it wasn't that bad. But next thing I knew, my family said I couldn't eat allot of salt. I asked them why and they said it was unhealthy. My friend was refused to listen to this and continued to eat unhealthy. I'm willing to bet you that she's probably constipated and all the other negative things that come from too much salt.

Hmm. When you first said that it sounded very weird. But when you specified corn pops, I tried to imagine and I think it might taste good. I guess I should try it some time.

Adding salt to something sugary usually makes it sweeter. For example, if Kool-aid didn't have salt in it, it would need twice as much sugar to sweeten it.
