Is it normal my boyfriend is obsessed with himself?

he is a good looking guy, funny, and smart. But I feel like he's too obsessed with himself. He constantly looks in the mirror, flashes himself a smile, fixes his hair, and checks out his clothes and body. I think he might be a narcissist. He's not selfish or gay so I can't explain it. He's not insecure either because he is confident. I don't mind it but sometimes it's irritating because I just get a feeling that he loves himself more than anyone else, including me.

what he does is probably the way he got confident enough to get you in hits life, which indicates self-esteem issues that may still be there, it's not you babe, it's his inner troubles.

Gouge out his eyes, then he won't be able to see himself anymore and without his sight, it'll be easier for you to have control over him and you can treat him as your pet. Problem solved :)

The truth is this is not uncommon anymore. This generation you have lots of guys that take selfies, look after themselves and their appearance. I've noticed it to be more common in younger guys, but it exists in older ones too... maybe to a milder degree. I think I would call it metrosexual not necessarily narcissistic... that'd be jumping the gun a tad

I honestly don't think vanity is that big of a deal as long as he loves you. But vanity in a guy can lead to other things too so it's a judgment call

I hate vain guys. Especially if they borrow my mirror.
I like guys who don't care how they dress or what their hair looks like.

Those kind of fellows tend to be so self absorbed they often don't notice whether they are making love to another person or not as long as there is a mirror around.

He pays more attention to himself than to you, isn't it? I'm sure is your problem.
Anyway is better one like that than the other way round so be glad he is vain. Appreciate it.
