My boyfriends guy friends want to hang out with me and take me out to lunch and beer while my boyfriend is at work.My boyfriend says he doesn't care if I go hang out with them with out him.Is this normal?

Yes, he trusts his friends. He probably thinks your safer with them than with some random psycho from anywhere. If my gf left me, I'd rather she went with a friend (well, not a friend, an aquaintence I'm fond of) so I'd know she'd be treated right.
Sounds like he just trusts you enough and his friends not to do anything hurtful. He obviously likes you, and he likes his friends, so it would make sense that you and his friends would get along to him. And if nothing nefarious is taking place, shouldn't he trust all of you? Sounds good to me. And maybe he knows his buddies will take care of you when he's out without trying to jump you. Seems like a healthy, trust filled relationship, as long as there really isn't anything nefarious going on. If there is he's just dumb.

It sounds like he trusts you enough not to run off with the first guy you see. He must also see it as a way for you to get to know his friends just beacuse it is lunch dosen't mean it is a date.
