Is it normal my best friend left without saying goodbye?

So my best friend just left for a 3 month trip and she didn't even say goodbye to me. We've talked every single day for about the last 7 months and for the next 3 months we'll be lucky to talk a few times a week. I also told her I'd miss her and she responded by saying she would miss "everybody". I'm just so confused I don't understand why she wouldn't say goodbye if we are so close. Is it normal for her to not say goodbye and not say she'll miss me?

    Well you never know what's going on in a person's psyche. But perhaps she wants to see you squirm a little to test your feelings for her. Some people take pride in people being attached to them while they make as though they aren't attached for the sake of trying to be cool (but most times they are attached).

    Maybe she doesn't feel as close to you as you feel you are with her. Some people don't become as attached to others.

    you use this time away to furtherr your intrerests, be busy doing, looking, thinking, planning. so when she comes back you've done the best you can to broaden yr horizons. then yll be proud of yourself, good luck

    Talk to her and tell her exactly what you posted here. The best way to get an answer is to ask your friend. Asking others might get answers but you will never be sure what is right because everyone have different ways of acting and reacting. Maybe she's going through a hard time or something. A situation like this doesn't necessarily mean that she doesn't want to be your friend anymore. Good Luck :)

    Well I'm sorry for you. She's obviously not feeling this friendship anymore. But a good thing to do is to TALK about it with her ask her why she didn't say bye
