Is it normal my babysitter abused me?

I was around seven or so and my babysitter was an older guy, around 18 came over to watch my younger brother and I. My parents went out of dinner and left us pizza. Once my parents left we were all sitting down on the sofa. My babysitter told us we couldn't have dinner till he said so. When he was distracted by my younger brother I went and snuck a piece of pizza. He turned around and saw me. He grabbed me and sat me down on his lap. I had a mouth full of pizza. He proceed to yell at me and he took my arms and crossed them, pulling them as hard as he could. Then he put his hands around my throat and demanded that I throw it up. I threw it up all over his lap and he continued.. This must have gone on for an hour till I got loose and ran to the bathroom and locked the door. He yelled for me to come out. And pounded on the door. I was scared. When I didn't hear him I opened the door and ran up stairs. He saw me and chased after me. I ran to my bedroom and locked the door and put a chair under the door knob. My younger brother thought it was a game so he told out babysitter where the key was and he picked the lock and pushed though. Then my brother was on my side and we "tackled" him to the ground and threw stuff at him and pulled down his pants. Looking bac he had a smile on his face and was enjoying it. Then we went back down stairs and he threated me not to tell my parents or anybody. He never baby sat us again ,but it turns out his dad is a pedofille so that was a little concerning.. I was just wondering has anyone had similar experience and is it normal?
