Is it normal my 13 year old cousin made me insecure about my height?

i was at a graduation party for a relative that just graduated high school and saw some family members i hadn't seen in awhile because i live in a different state than them. i saw my cousin who is somewhat like a little sister to me that i haven't seen in about 2 years. when i got there, she hugged me. the thing that stuck out to me is she almost as tall as i am now. even some of my family members jokingly pointed that out. i am a 25 year 5'7 male and my younger female cousin is only about 1 or 2 inches shorter than me. it made me feel kind of insecure that she is almost as tall as i am and will be taller than me in a year or so. now i see why most women don't like us short men because we are seen as less masculine which is understandable but it pisses me off. i have never really been all that bothered about my height until this happened. that made me feel like a damn midget.
