Is it normal memories trapped in music?

Normal I get it with music to games, When I hear a specific song it triggers what I was doing in the game at the time, Really amazing. Perfectly normal.

Sensory memory or something like that that it's called. I know of a test where they where scanning the guy's brain, and they made him listen to a song, and then sing it from memory without the song playing; the same parts of the brain lit up from bot listening to the song, and remembering it.

I can get memories of sidewalks and thoughts I had when I walked on them, happens all the time.

I just recently found and downloaded an old Tekken soundtrack and it brought me way back... It's amazing how that works.

I cant hear that goodbye horses song and not tuck it in and spread my arms out. Its just made to be done.

I'm the same. Though some songs bring back bad memories or weird memories so I don't listen to those songs anymore. Then when I tell my friends that I don't want to listen to certain songs they always ask me why, but I never tell them.

Yeah, I do this too, specifically with books. When I think of a book I can think of a band or songs that I listened to non-stop when I was reading that book:)

I feel the same way. I love it when I hear an old song. It gives me a good flashback.
