So this is a post about my makeup struggle. I CAN NOT find my shade of makeup. When I'm in the restroom, my foundation matches my skin exactly and if not exactly than a shade darker. But when I open a window for natural light or go outside, my face is pumpkin orange!!! Help, what do I do??
Give up the makeup if it's such a problem .... talk about First World problems ......
Whats your undertones like? I have a yellow under tone so I try to stay away from most drugstore foundations as they tend to have really pink tones. What brand are you using and if you know the color name/i.d? The one drugstore liquid foundation that I am really pleased with is the Maybelline FitMe Smooth + Poreless. They have a decent amount of shades tp choose from and are not super pink which can look orange. Almost all foundations oxidize after some hours of wearing which also gives you the orange look. I find that setting my makeup with a translucent powder helps with that issue and definitely prolongs the wear time.
