Right, there's this boy who's the same age as me who my step grandmother knows and ive started talking to him quite a bit, i know its childish but it cheered me up so much when he said he'd save me from this random person and its odd because i seem to be slowly falling in love with him and ive only known him a few months is this normal?:/

Yeah, I guess it's normal to have a crush on him. We don't have much to go by.
no one can tell you if it's normal or not.. it's how you feel.. and no one can feel the way you feel, so therefore no one knows but you. :)
scientifically.. if you can't stop thinking about that one person it produces this chemical.. which is meant to be 'love'. therefore, if you can't stop thinking about him.. you're technically in love ;)
Well if you've known him for a few months then I wouldn't say that you fall in love quickly but rather see yourself with this person as someone who you can have a good relationship with. Maybe he could be the one.
