Ok so..ive been living with this guy for almost a year. ive known him for over 3 years and from what i get from him when we're alone we are in love. i love him and he tells me he loves me but he wont put a title on us, he only shows me affection when its just me and him and its like everyone knows or has this understanding that we're together but yet he tries to hide the fact that he has feelings for me around everyone. I just dont get it and it really hurts my feelings,especially when people ask if hes my boyfriend and i dont kno what to say. I feel like hes my bf but we havnt had that convo(he just says "cant you just be happy") It drives me crazy..I dunno id really like to hear some feedback lol.

    seems like he's too afraid to make a commitment of any kind. and the fact that he's just brushing aside your feelings by saying "can't you just be happy" to me is a form of disrespect!

    He is likely a player that doesnt want anyone to know bcuz he wants other girls to think he's available. The more u put up with this, the more he'll continue to walk all over u! The next time someone asks u if u 2 r 2gether and he tries to say ur not, u should say, "yeah, we're roommates that share a bed.." if he gets upset, just ask him why cant HE just be happy. Bastard.

    Maybe he has some inner turmoil in his head and he's unsure he can trust you with the information. and if he can't trust you to except something about himself that he can't except about himself then how could he ever be in a committed relationship.

    Or maybe you should lay down the law?

    Sounds like yer dude needs to grow the fuck up, if your living with a woman, sleep in the same bed and fuck, I would have to say it qualifies as a bf/gf type of relationship.

    Drop him like a bad habit and find someone who actually appreciates you enough to acknowledge your presence. Can't eat a slice without taking the whole pie. Unless you are content with being a puta.... then i guess it's okay.

    Watch 'John Tucker Must Die', chances are... he's one of them.

    A game player... he's probably living several lives.

    However, its not all doom and gloom. There's a possibility he does genuinely love you and want to be with you... it could be that he's not ready to commit or doesn't think he is... maybe he just wants to have fun still...

    If he's young this is possibilly the case. Could be that he's scared if its made official it will change...

    There could be any number of reasons for it.

    If you're living together and he doesn't want to commit. When the chance comes, move out... tell him, "I want you to miss me and that if you do and you really love me (that its not just a convenience thing) you will come to me and make it official and it will work".

    Yeah, inner turmoil--like maybe "he" is secretly a she. Unless, of course, you have already seen him naked.

    If not, you really need to pull "him" aside and have a good ol'-fashioned heart-to-heart discussion on the importance of honesty in a relationship, then yank his pants down.

    If "he" is indeed a he, say it was all just one big misunderstanding: that you only did it because you thought he was feeling uncomfortably warm.

    If "he" is a she, then--ha-HAH! I was right!
