If you stand up too quick after being sat for a while you will feel light headed and this is normal. I have had it where I have passed out after standing too quick. The bad thing about this is that you have hit you head and you are now having head aches. I would go to the hospital now. Hitting your head can cause so many problems. You have lasted this long but arrange to see a doctor ASAP.

I kept fainting and getting so dizzy it was painful and I thought I was dying and it turned out I had panic syndrome.

I have weird blackouts where I don't hit the floor or anything, but just stand there. I have no idea what I'm doing during a blackout, but it's like I wake back up and I'm right where I was, but the environment's changed, like people walked away, walked closer, etc. I've done this several times during conversations, and it's kinda weird because I remember nothing during the blackout time. I think maybe it's nerves with me though, because I've only done this during uncomfortable conversations or when a guy's hitting on me.

this same exact thing always happened to a friend I had in high school. she said they were seizures of some kind, but I can't remember what they were called.
