Depending on who's secret it is. I cant keep secrets that have a negative impact on the people I'm loyal to, but for someone I trust I can keep a secret easily.
I'm great at keeping secrets because I could never live with myself if I were to be that big of a dick as to tell others about it when asked not to.
Very easy for me. I know someone who I literally cannot trust with anything - she's nice, sure, but damn. Has to learn to shut her fucking mouth sometimes. She's nosy, and I pray that I'm not the only one who sees it. Either everyone else is oblivious, or they know better than to tell her certain things.
I always want to share a secret, but do not. However, now that I am married, please do not tell me your secrets, as I have none from my wife, and that is how I choose to live my life.
I would like to say that I'm good at keeping secrets...and I usually am! I wouldn't just tell anyone a secret someone told me. But the real reason secrets get out is because: we tell them to our close friends/family. At least, that's what I think.
Scenario: You're sitting with a good friend and there's nothing to talk about. But then you remember this one juicy story that would be something worth talking about! But you tell them to not tell anyone. What do you think happens next? Just read the scenario over again.
