Is it normal im still taking this med that is banned in the u.s.?

I found a bunch of darvocet lying around the house, & it's just pure bliss. I know it's weak & believe me morphine is my absolute #1, but the darvocet still gives me the nods & everything is too bright feeling. However i happened to google it & found out it has been banned, in a few places for causing irregular heartbeat which leads to sudden death. Needless to say i was shocked & waited a good 3 hours before taking it again.

    Dewd prescribed medical pills will kill you. you like to nod huh well go to doc and tell them i sent you. you'll get that morphine you like so much .

    I knew a friends friends that partied in their twenties with pills, pain pills. 2 in their thirties dropped d.
    Pain Pills slow down your respiratory tract, which leads to the major stuff. What you're taking is a major one.

    Meh, it's extremely rare to get complications from it, even more rare to get fatal complications. And of course you'd take the risk if you like opiates.

    You need to get off the drugs. It won't be easy, but your doctor and a counselor can help. You will feel better without them. Best wishes.
