Is it normal if you socialize well in big groups but not small?

What does it mean if you socialize well in large groups or alone but not with a small group of people you must constantly interact with? is it normal and what does that say of you as a person?

It means you like to blend in abit. In a small group there's more pressure in a way.

Yes that seems completely normal. I'm the opposite though, big groups intimidate me and I end up staying silent...

Well, I suppose, but I don't socialize in general.

Maybe its cause you get bored with smaller groups and find big groups exciting and there's more competition to get attention so you try harder socially.

Maybe it means you prefer to keep things light and not get too personal.

I'm the other way around. But it sounds normal to me either way.
