Is it normal if my friend starts dating men who like me/i like?

I have a friend who used to try to do things like me, then accuse me of copying her. Once she said she wanted to get a tattoo I wanted and they'd be 'friendship tattoos.'
One of the things she did a lot was start texting/aggressively paying attention to my ex boyfriends.
She also started dating/having sex with a guy after I told her I liked him, and dated/had sex with another guy who told her he liked me. There may have been more, I think she's told me about another one at least.

I always told myself it was fine because we have similar tastes and circles of friends, but the more I think on it, the more I think I might be right for being bothered by it.
It's starting to look like that movie The Roommate.

Tell her you like someone who you really don't and while she is busy fucking him get a guy who you really do like. tactics.

Haha! Good plan. I think you could really have fun with that.

Doesn't sound like much of a friend to me. Real friends respect each other and don't screw around behind your back. If she was also a real friend she'd talk to you about dating these guys to see if you're ok with it, not just have sex with them. I'd talk to her about how you feel, but if she doesn't respond well I'd suggest moving on from her.

    • Thank you for your input! :)
The first while she was going after someone relevant to me she asked me whether or not I would date a different person who liked me, and I said I might, which I think she took as a go-ahead, but I definitely didn't mean it to be.
Either way, she has, as of late, been even more crazy so I've unfortunately had to just tell her to leave me alone and stay out of my life.

Is that your friend? If so, I don't want to imagine how are your enemies then

  • Thank you for the input. I've basically decided that I feel the same way about my friend that your sister ended up feeling about the crazy chick in your story. :/
I thought it might be a jealousy thing, but I thought it might have been arrogant of me to say so very openly.

Are you sure she IS your friend? Because if that continues, your relationship as friends would most likely weaken. And if you care about her, tell her it's not safe having sex with multiple partners. What a horny bitch.

    • We're definitely no longer friends, she began accusing me of copying her and started interrogating people about me, even though she started acting more and more like me the longer I knew her and I never called her on it because I figured it didn't matter. These aren't the only things she's done that are quite messed up, really.
On the bright side, all the people I liked/who liked me who banged her deeply regret it.

im sure most people have a dibs system for things this, we call it stepping on some ones toes if you go for some one you know a friend really likes and as for going for a friends ex thats usually a big no no unless it wasnt serious or ne thing
