This has happened a number of times to me but I’ve never kept track of it: is it normal if my ears ring after I get off? I’m thinking it could be because of the heightened heart rate/blood pressure, or maybe something with my constant dehydration, but I’m not sure.
I've always experienced a heightened sense of smell immediately after orgasm, and I know that's due to increased blood flow to the nasal membranes. I've never heard of someone experiencing post-orgasm deafness, but it would make sense that your hearing might also be affected by increased blood-flow to your brain.
We should all be able to hear every beat of our hearts, but that noise is automatically filtered out by our brains. It would make sense if that filter mechanism was thrown completely thrown out of whack if a drastically increased heart rate made blood roar through our ears, but that suddenly faded away.

Im not going to say it is or not. But ive had the same thing happen to me everytime I masturbate. I go kinda deaf? But it passes in like a few minutes, wierd.
