Is it normal if my boyfriend text and talk to my friend?

My bf of 8 years has recently started talking nd random texting with a family friend who we both know for 7 years..
Relation with her and her family are kind of very family types and we both know that she and her hubby are having serious marriage issues..
She used to duscuss her issues with me now suddenly i came to know that she calls my bf for advice..they have talked atleast once a week and text ed also .She has talked too personal stuff That she has no sexual life and her hubby comes to sleep at 1am and he watches porn.

This is happening for three months now..and when i objected that this doesnt seem right then my boyfriend is mad that He told me about the calls and he is honest and I am not trusting him..
I feel it is weird because we meet this family almost every week for dinner then whats so much to talk? And she is my friend but the BF says she clicks with me more.
He claims that he never calls he only picks the phone and its a good commute time pass.
I am so much stressed out because on one hand he told be everything but I can't digest the fact why every week talk is needed and texts are required if we all meet in person ? Please advice If I am panicking for nothing?

    You make it sound like your bf has an interest in the woman beyond wanting to help her with her problems. Where do you get those ideas? Has he done it before? Is that how you got him? Do you have any reason to think he has lost interest in you? Be very careful, you could be creating a problem where none exists.

    I think you have reason to be suspicious.Your boyfriend is more into your friend than what is apropriate.

    One of these days you will find out he is your EX and not current boyfriend any more.

    Be prepeared for a heartache in the near future....sorry..

    Its easy to.manipulate girls who suffer from depression, eating disorders, or drug abuse to do anal and ass to mouth. They have low self esteem and its easy.

    Apparently they are cheating on you think logically, do you think it's OK for them to do that behind you? I don't
