It's an amphetamine. Amphetamines generally make you lose your appetite which is very common. Not a good drug to be on in my opinion, it tends to mess with receptors in the brain you need.

My son's on Ritalin and he won't hardly eat any of his lunch at school but I always put stuff in that will last till after school . He will eat everything in his lunch box on the way home since his time release meds wear off at the end of the school day . Just eat a good breakfast and have healthy stuff to snack on when your meds wear off .

Yes; that is one of the side-effects to Aderal. I had to stop taking it because it made me moody and depressed. I honestly don't think it's a good drug, and a lot of other people have had issues with it too, but some folks can put up with it, I guess. It depends on you.
