I think there is a HUGE misunderstanding of "what you wear is who you are" for example, when people think just because you're wearing a tight skirt, showing off your belly button with your cut-off top, doesn't mean its for the guys to come and get it. Honestly, everyone's different and have their own purposes in life so yeah there are hoes who will dress like hoes because they're simply hoes but I know for a fact that a lot of girls sometimes may dress skimpy but they're completely the opposite of what they are perceived as. You'd be surprised how many girls dress in cute outfits for them, not for guys. Can't we look hot, just for the sake of being hot? Doesn't mean there has to be something done about it if you know what I mean. Personally, I love mixing outfits and looking pretty yeah but that's all for me and sometimes I'll attract the wrong audience or present myself in a bad way but it hasn't stopped me from dressing that way. Its been a big problem considering how I am kind of weak with a low self-esteem,i.e, if Im at a club dressed frisky or whatever and a guy comes up at me thinking Im who he thinks I am (easy, flirty, wild, a slut, etc), I actually will kind of conform to that and open a can of worms that never shouldve been open in the first place. I mean we all have flaws, it just sucks that we can't live without a low self-esteem (because we all have it, just different levels) that comes from knowing we can't be free.

    I'll be honest....

    Regardless of what you feel... what you wear DOES affect how people look at you. This applies to ALL forms of clothing, not just your chosen style.

    And remember... yes you have the freedom to wear what you want.
    But freedom also means others have the right to form their own opinions on you based off of what they see.

    women's clothes these days are so revealing and i know that not all women want to be hit on all the time, but gosh please cover up. i mean you shouldn't be surprised if you catch guy's attention wearing what you're wearing.

    Wear what you want for sure, but just know that: If your wearing the uniform.... people are going to expect certain things. For Example: If your dressing up as a police officer, people are going to think that you can solve their disputes... if your wearing a whore uniform.... people are going to expect...... not everyone of course... but be prepared :)

    If it's just for you, then why do you go out looking like that? If you want reactions from people, it's not always going to be admiration and longing, some people will take you up on that proposal

    For someone with a low self esteem you surely think a lot off yourself the answer to your question is simple if you dont wanna be seen as a slut dont dress like a slut and if your not one why would you want to dress like one in the first place, first impressions are lasting impressions and when a person who dont know you see you for the first time without even having to talk to him or her your going to give that person an impression that your looking for the wrong type of attention.lol i couldn't help but sign up to comment on this question it was just to tempting sorry if i offended anyone

    So you're saying that if you go to a club, and a guy starts treating you're easy or a slut, then you start acting like you are? That is definitely not good. Dress how you like, but if you are dressing like a "slut" and then acting like one, you're going to be seen as one.
