Is it normal if i think someone who hates me actually likes me?

I can really tell when someone is being in denial and in this case, there is this guy who apparently thinks im a b*tch and always mean to me not that mean but were always arguing. In the beginning of our friendship, he would even admit to me that he was attracted to me and his best friend would hint if id ever get with him but as jokes however, in general we all use jokes to hide what we really feel so that was another hint that gave me the thought he was into me. But later in our "friendship", we kinda stopped hanging out and ironically it was when he got a gf. He even asked me if i stopped hanging out with him because he got a gf and I was shocked yet not really because he would assume that since hes been into me or something. Theres also that saying where the one who likes you is always teasing you and making fun of you and thats also how im concluding that he likes me. Hell make fun of me but flirt especially texting, facebook, or any non-in-person action. Although now hes just calling me a b*tch like if i did something to him and i have no idea wth maybe my attitude? My attitude tends to shift as I get annoyed by people and hes annoyed me before. I feel like this sense of in denial he has or even unaware that he does like me. The more mean he is to me, the more in denial he gets in my perspective like this "I cant get over you I want to but I cant!" type of thing. This goes for other guys but this one in particular is just a good example. The question just lies in what did I to you to be so angry with me? It could be just the person I am and i get that since I dislike people also just their personality. My presence is like a distraction for him and as much as he hates, he cant admit not even to himself that hes into me. Ive told them to playing around and hell be like SIKEE !!!! SO exaggerating like ok ok i get it you dont want me to know you like me for some reason. BTW Im not conceited or need to get over myself, Im just saying how I feel and possibly find a convincing answer that he really does hate me for no reason OR he does like me because...
