Is it normal if i sleep with a "blanket" at 23?

I'm a 23 year old grad student, and I have been sleeping with a blanket for my whole life. But my blanket is actually an old beat up t-shirt. It is beyond recognition now after so many washes and spending so many years with me. I now have to hand wash it because it's so delicate. I feel like I will sleep with it forever. I love it. It was my dad's shirt. He died when I was 13. I don't bring it when I sleep at other people's houses or if I have male company or anything, but I do bring it on vacation sometimes. I know it's not common, but is it normal?

I'm 26. Still sleep with the one my grandma made me when I was a baby. Until my gf set it on fire and I have to hide it now. I lock it up when she comes over now :(

I am 23 and sleep with a blankey that I've had since I was born. I would choose it over my laptop, iPod, car, motorcycle and any item I own.

    You are very normal.

Kind of cute actually. If it's so beat up find another shirt he owned and try that? it's completely normal, it has sentimental value

its your way of being close to your dad but maybe you can get someother things of his to have . the blanket isnt going to last much longer it seems . i twould probably be bes tto put it away now so it doesnt ge tcompletely ruined. you can still go voer and touch it but it wont get so damage dif your nto sleeping with it. seeif your mom can give oyu anthign else of his to hold whiel you sleep or jsut sit it beside you on a table to look at
