Is it normal if i met someone and decided later that i love them?

So I met this guy and I was thinking about other problems at the time and wasn't really paying attention. I get home later and think about my day and start thinking about this guy again. I realize that he was really amazing and even thought I wasn't thinking about it when I met him.
