Is it normal if i haven't been in a relationship for 2 and 1/2 years?

Even though I've been in relationships before, it seems for two and a half years I have been single. Is this normal? Do people usually stay single for so long after they've been in relationships before? I mean completely single, no flings, not even flirting.
