Is it normal if i get the opposite effects of coffee?

Apparently coffee makes me go to the bathroom when really, doesn't it make you bloated ? And also of course we drink coffee as an alternative drug to alcohol to keep us awake however, I freakin fall asleep after having some which sucks when you can't be awake for something important. Obviously me alone doesn't keep me awake so I'll drink coffee and either I feel the same or I drown to sleep like a dreamer. If I were planning to sleep, I'd def use coffee and not sleeping pills. I heard that people who get opposite effects from coffee are ADD? Is this true? Is it normal?

I have to go to the bathroom after a cup of coffee as well! It has little negative effect on me unless I drink it without any food. Then I get really shakey.

Do you have sugar in your coffee? In some people it can have the strange effect of hypoglycemia which would explain why you would be tired. People should just cut out refined sugars from their diets anyways.

Yeah I'm not actually a nutritionist although I had to study it at university but saying that there is a fully qualified nutritionist on my course and she even admits my knowledge in this area is more advanced than hers.

I just guessed because of your profile pic. Anybody that is in that good of shape is eating pretty well, as well as working out. lolz You don't get that ripped off of a Mcdonalds diet.

Ah that was last february pal and I'm about a stone and a half heavier now. I do eat healthy most of the time apart from the occasional binge. Christian Bale was about 65kg in the machinist then just a few months later of eating pizza and ice cream he was bulked up to 110kg and ready for batman begins, you can eat unhealthy and get big as long as you put the hours in at the gym but I wouldn't really recommend it.

Coffee makes me sick. I don't drink it ever. I do like the smell though. Walk into any Starbucks for the aroma. Or, if you're a local coffee snob, walk into a locally-owned coffee shop for the same experience.

You are ADD or ADHD if it makes you sleepy. I would know cause i am! Caffeine has the reverse effect on ADD/ADHD individuals.

Well coffee's always made me sleepy and kinda disinterested and had a complete inability to focus, even on things I like.
Hoverewver! Drinking 3 bottles of .5 litre strongy engerydrink (so 3 litres) with I dunno 30% caffeine each I get kinda... not stimulated but, jittery.

Coffee has no effect on me whatsoever.

Maybe it's because I drink so much of it that my body has already become accustomed to it.

I use to drink coffee before bed so that I could wake up in the morning.

People are different. Usually, coffee gives people the runs. I used to drink caffeinated and often times I'd be on the verge of having a accident:/ I switched to decaf and on occasion it give me the runs, especially if I drink a soda or prune juice after. Both caffeinated and decaf coffee make me very sleepy. I was diagnosed with ADHD, but I think it was a misdiagnoses which bring me back to my first point that everyone reacts differently to it.

It makes my stomach feel like it's going to explode (occasionally.) That's only when I'm having stomach problems.

Everyone's body is different. Just because it has the same effect on me doesn't me it's going to have the same effect on you. Don't drink coffee if it isn't doing any good to you.
