Is it normal if i get a boner when i piss outside?

I am a man and it is in my nature to take a leak outside every once in a while. If there is a bathroom I will probably use it but I love to piss outside. But whenever I try to go outside I get an erection even if I'm in private. Does this happen to anyone else?
