If an enormous asteroid was hitting earth in a weeks time how would you feel? What would you do in your last days?

I'd find zooey deschanel and we'd spend our final days making wild, crazy yet sometimes tender love

I'd make some calls,
I'd phone Sophie and tell her that I've always thought she was beautiful and that I'm sorry I wasn't there for her before, I was selfish.
I'd ring my friend Ryan and tell him that we'd been friends for too many years and shared too many laughs and experiences to die ignoring each other over something so trivial
I'd ring my dad and tell him I meant every word ( May seem harsh, trust me it's not)
I'd find a way to buy a mogwai and I'd sure as hell feed it after midnight, we're going to die anyway.
I'd make a few more calls, adding closure to a lot of things that need it.
To ve honest I'd like to say I'd make the most of it, there are so many things I can't believe I haven't done in my life but if I'm honest, I think I'd just have a quiet week with my family. I can think of worse ways to spend a final week
I actually cannot predict what I would do if this were a real scenario. I would be kind of scared of the unknowns of death, but that is about it. I don't think people around the world would just quietly continue on with their lives like normal. There would be mass suicides, violence, looting, and hysteria everywhere. So it is hard to accurately predict such a thing.
I would spend the last week of my life praying and telling those close to me that I love them!
I would probably just continue doing what I've been doing and be all nonchalant about it since we're all going to die anyway.
Run around yelling "The Bacon is cumming!!! The Bacon is cumming!!!!!!!"
As long as your under the asteroid you have nothing to worry about. Depending on the size and speed, if it is around 1.6km in diameter and traveling no less than 30,000mph then it could pretty much cause an extinction event. Then its more favorable to be under the asteroid and die instantly than live in a horrible, tribal post apocalyptic world with >5% of the population that will probably rape your family, you, then kill you, eat you or use you as slaves, steal your food and belongings and give you a more miserable life, in a miserable world as you breed and wait for 250 years until Humans can once again reign supreme if there are any left.
BUT if its smaller than half a mile, the Earth might be fine. But hey, it could be bigger, and make the whole "rebuilding the human race" thing harder.
I'm not worried about being hit by one, I'm worried of not being hit by one when one is coming.
P.s Did I mention it will be like... Grey and dull all the time because of the dust covering the Sun? No? Well now you know. Hopefully it doesn't bring an alien virus like the dreadful and boring film "The Andromeda Strain" just to make it all harder.
I'd do stuff I normally couldn't do. Naturally I'd wait a bit to find out if the asteroid will hit! If the military destroy it and I'm out flying a 747 illegaly, I'd go to jail. So I wait untill I know an asteroid will wipe out the Earth. Then I would go and do many things. Joyride in cars from dealerships. Drive ships, airplanes, trains, busses. Shoot my old biology teacher. Go crazy about love and sex... Thrash a hotell room XD... Y'know... stuff you normally can't do.
The last day, I will spend with my girlfriend and parents, accepting that our time has come and we've had a good ride.
If an asteroid hit Earth and killed us all we wouldn't know what happened, we can't track all the asteroids that are heading in our direction, if an asteroid wipes us out there will be no warning.
Bullshit. There'll be plenty of warning; you'll have months to think about it.
It's happened before, several times and it is the current theory as to why the dinosaurs disappeared, and it will happen again, without a doubt.
If it is a big enough one, it will wipe out all life on the planet and everything will begin again, with a couple of one celled organisms in the ocean. No big deal.
Hell, maybe nature will get it right next time, and the dominant species on the planet won't be such a disaster.
I'd be scared... But I would try to have the best life I can! YOLO! Yah, I'm not sure about THAT, though... I would go party with my friends and finally tell my crush that I loved them. Then, we would all die happily... together... We would live the rest of our lives up there... in Heaven... God had figured out what had happened and suddenly made a new world for all of us to live in!
