Is it normal if a male wants to be a female

i am born male but want to be a female. But i am enjoying all those girly stuffs like, sexy girl costumes, lipstick, eye makeup, nose rings, earrings, bellybutton, heels, hair style, etc. only in my dreams. Due to fear i am unable to express my inner feelings and couldnt control over a period of time. Nowadays its becoming an urge to do all these in real life and i also want to do this but i fear to do.

I personally can't imagine wanting to change but if thats your desire you should pursue it. Lifes to short to be miserable. I think being trans would be really difficult but the process at least in the states should help someone with that desire to sort out there feelings before any irreparable change takes place.

They do, they force you to vist phsciologists or something like thst i always forget which one well a therapist anyways before you can do anything and its complete bull, the fact that i have to go talk to people countless times and waste my money on them just to get there aproval to live life the way i want to pisses me off more than you can imagine.

I understand the frustration. 1 requirement is to live as the gender you want to be for 2 years and this is good for weeding out those that aren't really good candidates for surgery. And the process is very expensive and at some point changing your mind can leave you physically damaged. 1 option would be to visit a country without the stringent requirements but I don't think thats the best idea. Not sure how keeping up hormone treatment would work in that case. But best of luck in your journey.

Not normal but fairly common: You are a transvestite. I've known some in the US military. They were not gay. Not sexually anyway. One guy was even married. As a homophobic male I'd might want to bust you one if I encountered you out on the street in your "garb". Especially after getting a few beers in me. So I'd advise you to keep this fetish of yours behind close doors. Other than that, who really gives a fuck, dude. Have fun, um, sweetie.

You contradicted yourself in your own opinion twice in one paragraph.

You are normal. Some people feel this way. Do what makes you happy!

It's hard to answer this because it's not normal for most men but it's normal and right for you. Please don't suppress your feelings - whether it's wanting a complete change or just dressing up privately. It is soul-destroying to ignore your inner feelings and leads to a miserable life of chronic emptiness. I wish you lots of happiness in exploring your authentic self.

No, it's not normal. I really wish you phrased this as a poll, since I would have said yes to "Should I follow my dreams?"

Well, I am a girl. And in my opinion, being a girl is AWESOME! But you have to be BORN a girl to really like.. fit in, ya know? You have to be born knowing HOW to be a girl. You have to act new in your school. Or just move to a new one. If you tell anyone you're an actual male, Your life is RUINED. You cant get a boyfriend, unless you're gay, and how will you tell your parents? I'd say just live in the male life.

Theres some truth to this and it goes for both MtF and FtM. Often the concept of being the other gender is more a dissatisfaction with the current gender. MtF are often over the top hyper feminine in a way that doesn't seem natural. And FtM may sort of look male but often don't read as male to me.

Of course ppp come in all sorts of varieties and all are different so yes its just a generalization but a common 1 from what I have seen. This isn't meant yo dissuade anyone from exploring this if its there desire its more why I think the 2 year wait is a good idea. Often the grass isn't really greener and sometimes the only way to find out is to live it. I just think it would be a tragedy to do irreparable damage to your body and not get what you thought you were getting.

You're young. Give it a year and see if the urges are still there. You might just not have many male friends, or lack a father figure.
