Is it normal i won't have children because i am ugly?

So, there have been some people I have dated. I tend to care more about personality, common interests etc. while choosing partners. But most people will sadly judge you on what is on the cover. This is why I am very self conscious on going out or meeting people without make up, hair done and good clothes worn. I can never show people my bare face because in my opinion I look hideous. I wouldnt want the same things happen to any person especially my children. I have been bullied in school because of how I looked. I dont think anyone deserves to experience that. Unfortunately our society is getting more and more shallow and obsessed with looks... But is it normal for me to not wanting to have kids because they may be born ugly like me?

genetics is a funny thing. I've seen two "plain" people have children that were physically attractive, and I've seen attractive couples give birth to children that "plain" would be an understatement.

One of my best friends even has twin girls, one cute, petite, and looks like she will grow up and break hearts. The other is large, very butch looking, and looks like she will grow up to break heads.

Genetics is a lottery. Have kids if you want them, you can't tell how they will turn out - no matter what you look like.

Being ugly is all in the eye of the beholder, I for one have yet to meet an "ugly" person.

Besides eeven if you are slightly less good looking than the next person, it takes two people to make a baby and when genes mix beautiful can come from ugly!

You are doing the right thing. If society wasn't so sick, they would encourage intelligent people to have kids, and pay dumb people to get sterilized.

    I have some similar problems.
I've been bullied in school for being to skinny.

I don't want that the same shit happens to my kids.
Time has changed, like you already said. Back in the day when I went to school, bullies were not really common but today its like every day business.

I'm really scared that my children will be bullied and I don't know what to do, because I remember how hard it was when I struggled with it
