Is it normal i wipe standing up?

Whatever makes you happy. The important thing is that you get to wipe.

I've always stood up. But then again, I'm a guy. Until I came to IIN I didn't even know that there was any other way to wipe.

Haha I always stand too, but I've tried getting out of the habit. The end result? I'm in a crouching position, or standing with my knees bent.

some toilet are too shallow to wipe sitting down i prefer to sit to wipe but i curse when my hand ends up in the toilet water

That seems awkward, when you're sitting on the bowl your ass is spread, it's easier to get to, if you're standing up you have to spread it yourself, also if you've had a stodgy shit sometimes there's quite a lot still stuck to you, if you stand up I imagine it would squelch between your ass cheeks, that just seems messy.

I just don't like the idea of sticking my hand in a pot full of shit....I don't wipe sitting down, creeps me out...seems less sanitary....plus you can get a better angle at it standing up LOL
