Is it normal i want to treat bums like this?

So whenever I see bums out on the street and they ask me for money or something, I just want to go up to them and apologize for whatever wrongs they have had in their life that caused them to be in the situation they are in. I want to give them a hug, provided they arent overly smelly, and walk along with them letting them tell me about their problems, and as we walk along I will listen sincerely being an active, compassionate listener, until we get to the bridge at which time I will grab them by the back of their pants and gently throw them off the bridge.

Is it normal I want to do this?

    Yeah, there's actually a few known serial killers who targeted bums. I'd imagine there's a lot more out there but since the victims are bums it's extremely easy to get away with. Maybe they'd not exactly be defined as serial killers...I don't know. But I don't think it's an uncommon thought. I wouldn't doubt that people 'try out' murder on bums, or just do it every once in a while for the fuck of it, since you'd probably not get caught.

      Yeah they're serial killers, it's just anyone who's killed 3 or more people with a gap in between each murder. Heaps tend to target prostitutes, bums, runaways.

    Did yall see that video on FB where the guy pretends to be homeless and he gives passer bys money and like 90% of them treat him like absolute shit and get extremely offended. It's only socially acceptable for most people to offer charity because it's a reassertion of a social cast. It makes people feel good, because it makes them feel like they're better than whoever they're giving money to.

    I just thought, I wonder if it could work if you pretended to be a bum and murdered the would-be serial killers who target you. Not for any moral reason or anything, just as an easy way to find victims. They're already planning to kill you, so they'll lead you to a suitable spot anyway. Then you just strike before they do. Simple, in theory.

    I actually thought this was about bums but it only turned out to be a bizarre "fantasy" of yours. I agree with Neptunian, allot of them are mentally ill or dangerous. Don't push them in the river and don't fondle on them with the gift of false hope. It's not normal on both ends.

    Careful, bro.
    Neuro here is a security guard and will tell you from experience that there is a reason that many of these guys are homeless. Society likes to label the homeless as poor, helpless victims of circumstance that just need a hand up and wouldn't hurt a flea when in reality, a good lot of them are either mentally disturbed (schizophrenic), mentally disturbed veterans (shell-shocked to the point of inability to function), have some kind of schizoid disorder (hate people so bad that they refuse to conform to living in one of their man-made houses) or like being homeless (in which case they are perfectly sane and would more than likely not allow you to throw them off a bridge).

      mentally disturbed people are poor and often very helpless people though? Most homeless people don't have a choice as they couldn't function in a job or manage a household, it's the governments fault for not putting the crazy ones in mental hospitals where they can be fed and have order and structure in their lives, some peace at least. The sane ones are just reallllly lazy.

      And schizoids don't hate people at all, they just don't relate to them. (they annoy me though, i fucking hate passive/agressive people as they have no balls and can't just say get fucked to someones face)

        Great argument, but many of those schizophrenics would sooner kill you or not accept your help due to their lack of understanding of what you are doing for them, assault you or otherwise harm you... they are poor pitiful souls alright but I would not invite one into my home or offer one a ride anytime soon. I'd apologize for my callous views but no. Many are like wild dogs. You can lay food out but keep your distance.

        And schizoids are anti social alltogether. I'm not going to bother with people who probably fear me.

          True, but most schizophrenics aren't dangerous, and the ones that are can't tell the difference between whats real and whats not most of the time. They attack people because they think the person is attacking them, it's really sad when you think about it. Haha schizoids may be anti social, but they certainly aren't like people with anti social disorder. Aspd's are quite social indeed, and usually with a great sense of humor lol.
