Is it normal i want to tell my mom about drug use/sexual experiences?

Not in detail... But for some reason I just really want to tell her about the things I've done. I've always seen her as a little bit uptight and I don't know how she would react to it. I only do weed, drink occasionally, etc. I have a diary I write in but sometimes I wish I had that open relationship with her and I could get advice from her.

    Come back home pissed and pissed off or get into an argument with your mum when you're pissed. Stuff comes out that way that's how it happened for me lol. Some stuff I regret saying but in a way it gave her a better understanding of me and the things that go on in my head meaning that she could support me and understand my feelings a bit better.

    Parents read their children's diaries and snoop in their room to see what is up in their child's life, because they think it's their job. She probably already knows.

      Nah she doesn't, first off she promised she wouldn't and I trust her. But second off I hide it under a rock in this bush/tree-ish thing in the side yard. Not even in my house lol

        Wow, you are paranoid. Good for her. I know my parents snooped through my room and have found bongs and old suicide notes.

    I think depending on your age, if your still living with her, and how uptight she really is, it could make you two feel closer and maybe she might share some of her experiences too.
