Is it normal i want to rip my sister in law to pieces!?

Soo recently my older brother and sister in law have been having troubles, he's 30 she's 23,, they met when she was in high school a Junior I believe anyways she was obsessed with him! Spent every min she could wiyh him and eventually she grew on him she moved in they had there first daughter when she was supposedly on birth control, and then they had another baby a yr later got married and now have three kids. 5 yrs later my sister inlaw starts threating to leave him and take the kids because my brother doesn't let her go to the clubs and to bars whenever she wants! And did I mention she doesn't work or do anything she hardly watches the kids it's really sad! So anyways I just pulled into town seen her car at this girls house who's having a party tonight and I'm livid! !!!!!!

She is only 23! She's supposed to be partying.

Let this be a lesson for those on this site that are due to appear on Judge Judy - the love soon fades when children and adult responsibilities take the fun out of your life.

However, the silly cow should've thought of this before she brought innocent children into it. If your brother has any sense he'll tell her to cool down until the kids are up a bit, then she can do whatever she likes.

Of course she wants to party, girl is 23; it's around that age, prime time got to get out, get moving, it's almost worse that high school... especially if you've missed doing said things in high school. A lot of people have their bar years, your brother may not have because of the kids, her as well; she may just be feeling it more. And of course that causes fights, when one wants to go out and the other doesn't; accusations of cheating, drugs, heavy drinking and such. Sucks for the kids, but your brother made his choice; take it as time to spend with his kids, then if she ever leaves be hard to take those kids away if he's be shown more devoted.

I understand wanting to defend your brother but... he's a legal adult.

This is his marriage. If it's turning to crap it's between him and his wife.

Yes you want to jump in and point out that she's not working but.... they need to work this out themselves. dragging in the entire family is only going to turn it into a dramarama and not actually fix anything

Agreed, there's really nothing you can do or say at this point that won't just make your brother mad for gettin in his business. But for his sake, maybe the bitch WILL leave. Take pix at parties and bars, get lots of evidence of her behavior. Maybe if you're really discreet you can even catch her cheating. say nothing to your brother. When she leaves, help him get custody of his children in court with the evidence you have collected.
